After acting out in his typical manner, WWE superstar and content creator Logan Paul offered up a fake and sarcastic apology to Tom Brady and other competitors he played against in the Fanatics Flag Football Classic.
In the build up to the competition, Brady and Paul got into a war of words where the Super Bowl champion called the wrestler’s preparations ‘cute’ among other put-downs.
Then during the game, Paul was repeatedly penalized for his inability to understand the rules as well as his repetitive provocations – including when he ripped the sunglasses off an opponent’s face during a defeat to the Team USA flag football team.
On Sunday, the day after the re-located exhibition took place, Paul posted a video to his social media accounts to share his fake apology.
‘I’d like to take this opportunity to apologize for some of my actions in yesterday’s flag football game,’ Paul began. ‘First, I want to apologize to the United States flag football team for taking [Team USA star Housh] Douchette’s glasses off of his face and throwing them at the ground.
‘That happened because after he scored a touchdown, he kind of got in my grill and said to me, “Welcome to flag football,” which upset me because it’s comments like that that I just can’t tolerate.

He called out Tom Brady, Jalen Hurts and his other competitors in the process
‘Second, I’d like to apologize to Jalen Hurts for sacking you and later deflecting a pass that then got intercepted by my team, allowing us to score on the very next possession.
‘If you get traded or your contract gets cut down, now we know why, and it’s probably pretty embarrassing, so I am sorry.
‘And of course, I’d like to apologize to Tom Brady for applying so much pressure on you play after play after play that had you literally fearing for your life.
‘I understand you’re older, it’s not like you could go anywhere, and you got frustrated, which is why you threw the ball at me. And I want you to know that I forgive you for that, because that’s what real men do.
‘And lastly, I want to apologize to everyone that said that I was not a great athlete, because you all look stupid as hell right now. Thank you.’
In true heel fashion, Paul’s video drew plenty of negative reactions – rife with animosity.
‘Your barber also needs to say sorry,’ said one commenter.
Former NFL star Asante Samuel posted, ‘Just say you wish you were a football player.’

Others fell for the rage bait: ‘logan paul is a genuinely a pathetic person and it is a travesty people support him….biggest man baby I’ve ever seen,’ read one comment.
‘The Paul’s are the greatest rage baiters the world has ever seen,’ a different comment read.
A different user posted, ‘He’s trying so hard to create beef with far superior athletes who barely even know who he is. It’s cringe and comical all at once.’
