Tudor’s day of reckoning?
There’s really only one talking point heading into this one and, thankfully for Arne Slot and his ropey reds, it’s all about Tottenham.
Could Igor Tudor, the man drafted in to save Spurs’ season, really be sacked after just five games?
Well, if he loses today, that’ll be five consecutive losses since he replaced Thomas Frank – including the 5-2 hammering at the hands of Atletico Madrid – and would leave Spurs in serious relegation peril.
That said, we know how inconsistent Liverpool have been. The Reds are currently sixth and have put up a pretty meek defence of their Premier League title.
Anyway, enough of the preamble. The lineups are about to drop and, I for one, am desperate to see who’s lining up for both sides.
