Lisa Rinna was so mad Andy Cohen published their personal text messages in his 2023 memoir, she “gleefully” watched his book burn in her fireplace.

“Andy had given me a heads-up that I was in his new book. When anyone gives you a heads-up that you’re in their book, you know you’re f—ked,” Rinna wrote in her new book, “You Better Believe I’m Gonna Talk About It,” which came out Tuesday.

The texts Cohen revealed were about her shock exit from the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” in 2023 — which had fans questioning whether she had been fired from the franchise or left on her own terms.

The reality star wrote in her new book, “You Better Believe I’m Gonna Talk About It” (seen above) that she knew she was “f—ked” when Cohen warned her she would be in his novel. Dey Street Books

“It was so shady, so Andy, so Bravo, so unnecessary. After I read it, I was so mad, I threw his book in my fireplace and watched it burn gleefully.”

In Cohen’s 2023 memoir, “The Daddy Diaries: The Year I Grew Up,” he recalled getting a text from Rinna “after midnight saying she’s leaving the show,” but claimed that one week later he received another text from her asking “if there was a path forward” for her to film the next season of “RHOBH.”

Cohen then said Bravo eventually made the decision that she “should go on pause” and “come back” in the future.

Rinna details feeling as if she’d been “left for dead by everyone who had been in [her] life for eight years” because no one fought for her to stay after they had begged her to several times before.

“Nobody had my back, not even Andy. Especially Andy. He left me in a ditch to have my eyes pecked out by the vultures.”

In another blow to Rinna, the Season 13 premiere of “RHOBH” featured her resignation email on screen.

The email – dated Sept. 10, 2022 and sent to someone at Bravo’s parent company, NBCUniversal – said, “I will not be renewing my contract and I will not be coming back to RHOBH. Thank you so much for 8 years!!!! All the best, Lisa.”

Though it was ultimately the move that put rumors of her firing to rest, to Rinna, it was an invasion of privacy.

She officially announced her exit from the show on Jan. 5, 2023 with a statement to People that read: “This is the longest job I have held in my 35 year career and I am grateful to everyone at Bravo and all those involved in the series. It has been a fun eight-year run and I am excited for what is to come!”

After her announcement, the “Watch What Happens Live” host praised Rinna’s “Housewife” career, calling it “an iconic run,” making it seem as if there was no bad blood.

Last year, Rinna compared Season 14 of “RHOBH” to the Titanic, which Cohen confronted her about when she appeared on SiriusXM’s “Radio Andy.”

“It’s a boat that’s sinking. I don’t know,” she replied, doubling down on the comment. “I meant to say Titanic. I meant it and I’m sorry I hurt your feelings. Let’s move on.”

Despite Rinna (seen above with Cohen at SiriusXM Studios in 2025) being hurt by Cohen’s choice to publish their private tests, she revealed they are on good terms earlier this month. Getty Images
“I’m fine with him today,” Rinna (seen at Cohen’s at 2022 Hollywood Walk of Fame honoring) said. “He’s written his own books and done what he’s done.” NBCU Photo Bank via Getty Images

Cohen then jokingly called her out for her “non-apology, apology.”

Earlier this month, Rinna confirmed that the two are on good terms despite the betrayal she felt after his memoir, and also revealed she did not reach out to Cohen before penning her own book.

“I’m fine with him today,” she said on SiriusXM’s “The Julia Cunningham Show.” “He’s written his own books and done what he’s done.”
