England will be based at in Zurich for the entire Euro 2025 campaign this summer, staying in the five-star Dolder Grand Hotel.
Sarina Wiegman’s side will be looking to defend the title they won on home soil in 2022, where they beat Germany after scoring in extra time through a strike from Chloe Kelly.
Since then, the Lionesses have missed out on a World Cup triumph to go with their Euro title, losing 1-0 to Spain in August 2023.
They will be among the favourites to claim success again, alongside the likes of Spain and Germany, who will be looking to right the wrongs that saw them miss out at Wembley three years ago.
And now, it has been revealed that England will stay in Zurich for the tournament, which will be held in Switzerland, while training at the nearby Sportanlage Au facility.
The training centre is the home of FC Glattbrugg in the city of Opfikon, and the side will not move their base at any point in the tournament.

There are 173 rooms in total, with the hotel website writing: ‘Our single and double rooms come in various sizes and with different furnishings, but they all are unique for their individual modern interior and tasteful luxury.
‘Every room offers you all the amenities of a five-star hotel. They include not only an elegant interior guaranteed to let you enjoy maximum relaxation, but also perfect service and a lot more. Most of the rooms will also offer you a breathtaking view of the city of Zurich or its surrounding nature.’
Also included in the hotel are two restaurants, a bar, and a 4,000-square-metre spa. Guests can also pay for their stay in Bitcoin.
England also confirmed that members of the St George’s Park grounds team will work with staff at the training complex prior and during the tournament to ensure the pitch is up to standard. The FAQ visited 23 basecamp facilities before selection.
England will have to navigate a tough group if they want to progress in their bid to defend their title, with fellow United Kingdom side joining them in group D.
They will also take on France and the Netherlands, which is the home country of Wiegman.
Wiegman said: ‘Finding the right environment for the team to prepare and train but also rest and recover is one of the most importance elements for tournament football. We’ve seen in 2022 and 2023 our ‘home from home’ has been a key part of our success and we’re very confident we have found another basecamp that will meet all our needs.
‘My thanks go to The FA for sharing this as a priority and for their support in securing these two top-class facilities. Although there’s a lot of work to be done and many months to go we can’t wait to get going.’
