Leeds great Mark Viduka currently has played with the ide of getting back into football but admits he has other priorities right now.
The Aussie striker, who retired from professional football back in 2009, is living a much different life in the outskirts of Zagreb from his days lighting up the Premier League.
Life is moving at a much slower pace for the 49-year-old. While the rock and roll lifestyle of being a professional footballer was for Viduka ‘stressful’ at times, now all he has to worry about is making a great coffee.
After hanging up his boots in 2009, Viduka has moved to the Croatian capital, where he now owns his own coffee shop, Non Plus Ultra.
Viduka’s parents had emigrated from Croatia to Australia in the 1960s, with the former Leeds and Middlesbrough centre-forward being born in Melbourne. He is interestingly also the cousin of former Real Madrid star Luka Modric and has returned to his roots, where he admits he has become a ‘coffee snob.’
Speaking in an interview with The Telegraph, he explains: ‘You could say I am a coffee snob.

But the former Austrlia centre-forward, right now, has no desire to get back into the sport
‘I like a cortado, not too much milk.
‘Flat whites are not for me, mate,’ he adds.
Viduka enjoyed a glittering career playing in the UK for Leeds, Middlesbrough, Celtic and Newcastle.
The Aussie also spent three years at Dinamo Zagreb in the early years of his career.
But as of right now, Viduka has no interest in returning to the sport in a coaching or managerial role.
‘I keep toying with it but I like my freedom too much,’ Viduka explained to The Telegraph.
‘It’s very stressful and football is a 24-hour, seven-day type of thing, your whole life has to revolve around it.
Viduka is interestingly also the cousin of former Real Madrid star Luka Modric and has returned to his roots, where he admits he has become a ‘coffee snob.’
‘I like doing what I want to do when I want to do it.’
Viduka enjoyed a glittering career playing in the UK for Leeds, Middlesbrough, Celtic and Newcastle.
Meanwhile, Viduka reveals he has other hobbies he is more interested in, including playing his collection of guitars.
‘I’ve got a few, a Fender Stratocaster and a Gibson Les Paul. I bought that in Leeds and I’ve got a picture of my son, who was born in Leeds, leaning on it when he was just starting to walk. Now he plays it,’ he added.
His son is also an avid footballer and the Aussie revealed that his boy is a better player than him.
‘On paper, yeah,’ he added. ‘I don’t think I can run anymore, but I couldn’t run much on the best of days.’
