Number 10’s Chief Mouser, Larry the cat stole the spotlight when he caught a mouse during a Keir Starmer press conference on Monday (1 April).

Once dubbed “Lazy Larry” for his lack of mouse-catching initiative, the 19-year-old was seen pouncing on his prey outside 10 Downing Street while Starmer spoke to reporters.

Reposting footage shared by a GB News reporter, an unofficial Larry X account said, “BREAKING NEWS: Someone in Westminster does their job.
