Lando Norris returned to the top step of the podium with McLaren’s new upgrades delivering the reigning world champion a big win in Hungary.
British star Norris started the race on pole but lost his lead to Oscar Piastri in the early goings, before the Australian was forced to retire with gearbox issues having seen a poor strategy call concede his position to Norris.
For championship leader Kimi Antonelli, he had to settle for third but saw his lead to title rivals Lewis Hamilton and George Russell grow, with the pair finishing fourth and seventh respectively.
