Kylian Mbappe and Neymar Jr were quick to comment on PSG’s Champions League triumph against Inter Milan.

The Ligue 1 champions humiliated their opponents to win 5-0 at the Allianz Arena and seal their first title. In doing so, they also secured a first ever treble in club history.

Desire Doue bagged a brace, while Achraf Hakimi, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Senny Mayulu also added to the goalfest in Munich.

And within less than an hour of the final whistle, Mbappe and Neymar broke their silence on the result, taking to social media.

Mbappe wrote on Instagram: ‘The big day has finally arrived. Victory and with the manner of a whole club. Congratulations, PSG.’

Neymar was more conservative with his words and simply said: ‘Congratulations PSG,’ followed by five clapping emojis.

Mbappe and Neymar shared some kind words towards their former club on Instagram

Both players were part of what Parisians had hoped to be a golden era in the French capital, joined by Lionel Messi.

But the closest they got to Champions League glory was when they suffered an agonising 1-0 defeat at the hands of Bayern Munich in 2020’s final – before Messi arrived.
