  • Radio stars have polar opposite views on grand final

Polarising radio star Kyle Sandilands has labelled Brendan Fevola a ‘real piece of s**t’ after the footy great predicted the AFL will cancel rapper Snoop Dogg’s grand final appearance.

It follows derogatory comments the US singer made about same-sex parents on a recent podcast.

Speaking on Fox FM, Fevola stated: ‘On Snoop Dogg, I might have some goss about that. They (AFL) are going to axe him.

‘Because of his lyrics in his songs and he talked about (struggling to discuss) – gay parents. I think he will get the arse, and they are going to go for an Aussie artist to play at the MCG.

‘That will happen, take that to the bank. He will get the (arse), which he should.’

Sandilands was stunned at Fevola’s prediction and labelled the former Carlton full forward a ‘piece of s**t’.

‘Someone has said Snoop Dogg has used this gay slur,’ Sandilands said on the Kyle and Jackie O show.

‘Yeah, Snoop’s written about pimping out women like wh**es his whole life, taking drugs, gang bangs, like yeah. You (the AFL) knew who you were hiring. Don’t go pretending.’

Sandilands described Fevola as ‘some sweaty ex-footballer… but way worse’.

‘God what a lacklustre vibe that show is,’ he continued.

‘Why should this fat little toad (Fevola) over at FOX FM, why should he think Snoop should be banned? And (Aussie band) Powderfinger should be playing?

‘It’s a joke. They are losers.’

Sandilands did concede there is a possibility Snoop Dogg’s performance will be cancelled.

‘That could happen, you know what these boards are like. They all sit around in these sleeveless business shirts,’ he said.

‘And they go “oh, he said the F word, we can’t have him, then”. This is football, you gronks.’

Sandilands then weighed into Izak Rankine’s four-game suspension after the Adelaide Crows midfielder directed a homophobic slur at a Collingwood player during a match.

‘As far as I’m concerned you can call anyone anything you want when you are against them,’ he said.

‘It’s not a big deal, if people call each other names in sport, it’s not the end of the world.

‘The gay community aren’t there, they didn’t hear it. When people call me fat and I’m hurt, what happens?

‘They (AFL) are in charge of a sport, that’s it. They are not in charge of society.’
