Kelly Stafford revealed the kind-hearted effort to get Rams fans to Glendale, Arizona for their playoff game against the Minnesota Vikings.
The Wild Card showdown was forced out of SoFi Stadium in Inglewood due to the wildfires wreaking havoc over Los Angeles County.
However, dedicated fans wanted to make the trip to support their team amid the calamity in the City of Angels.
Speaking on her YouTube channel, the wife of Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford revealed how she paid for fans’ charter buses to get them to Glendale from Los Angeles.
‘This is a fan organization that I got to know the first year we were here in LA,’ Kelly shared. ‘They tailgated a bunch in the pink lot and I’ve gotten to know them.’
‘Somebody posted ‘Let’s get to Arizona, like, kbstafford can you help us out?’ Something like that and I just wrote back.’

‘I had a lot going on at this moment but I go, ‘Listen, if you can organize it, I will pay for the busses. So if you can get it all together, I can’t do anything else though. That’s all I can do for you, just pay,” she continued.
Kelly added how helping fund the trip also gave her a way to help Angelinos escape the terrors happening at home due to the wildfires.
‘But I felt that not only did we want fans there but I wanted to give them an out of what was happening in LA too,’ she shared.
‘And I knew it was gonna be 24 hours. So hoping that fans could just get that 24 hours of fresh air but also knowing they won’t be gone long if something were to happen.’
The Rams beat the Vikings 27-9 to advance to the Divisional Playoffs. The team also paid tribute to LA first responders and locked arms around those affected by the tragedy.
According to Kelly, the atmosphere for the Rams-Vikings game topped any home game she has been in despite it not being in Southern California.
‘Shoutout to that organization. They got it all together; they got the names, and they filled all the buses,’ she shared. ‘It was just a full organization haul of getting people there, getting the stadium set, making it feel like a home game, which it did.’
‘Honestly, it’s the most home game that we had,’ Kelly continued. ‘LA definitely showed up. It was pretty incredible. And I don’t wanna take a ton of credit because the people on the other side did it, I just did what I could.’
The Rams will take on the Philadelphia Eagles on the road on Sunday.
