Kelly Clarkson has been left stunned by the singing ability of Australian NFL player Jordan Mailata, with the Grammy-winning superstar revealing that she’d like to sing a duet with him.
During a recent appearance on Kylie Kelce’s ‘Not Gonna Lie’ podcast, Clarkson expressed her amazement about the Philadelphia Eagles offensive tackle’s hidden talent.
‘I didn’t know he sang so well. I had no idea,’ said Clarkson.
‘I went down the rabbit hole afterwards because everybody was like, “Did you know he sings,” and I was like “What?”
‘I heard him sing the anthem better than most singers. I found out literally minutes after I met him.’
Kelce mentioned that Mailata, her husband and former Eagles star Travis Kelce and current Philadelphia lineman Lane Johnson had raised money for charity by producing Christmas albums – and Clarkson offered her services immediately.

Clarkson’s comments have since caught the attention of the talented 27-year-old.
‘Aww shucks, I’m all shy now, guys. Thanks be to auto-tune,’ Mailata wrote.
Two years ago, Mailata was a contestant on popular US TV show The Masked Singer.
Judges and fans alike were stunned to learn of the 165kg footy star’s ability as he sang Dead or Alive by Bon Jovi and Ed Sheeran’s hit Perfect.
‘Man, I’ve been singing all my life,’ Mailata told Fox viewers at the time.
‘I was a singer before I was any sort of athlete. I played Rugby in Australia and I decided four years ago to try and take a dip in the other side of the water in the NFL and it ended up paying off.
