Katie Boulter has revealed details about her upcoming wedding to Alex de Minaur as the tennis stars prepare to make their run at the Australian Open.
The couple have been together since 2020 and announced their engagement in December 2024 by posting a photo to social media of Boulter wearing a stunning ring on her wedding finger.
The British star – who is unseeded for the tournament – also expressed her love for her longtime partner in gushing terms.
While de Minaur has previously revealed that he and Boulter won’t tie the knot in the UK or Australia, Boulter went a step further and said their wedding will be held in Europe in the middle of this year.
‘He is amazing, he continues to impress me every day of my life,’ she said.
‘It’s been almost six years now with him and it’s an inspiration to me as a player and a person as well that he’s doing so well, and I feel like he’s playing better and better every time I see him.

‘So I’m very excited for him and it’s another opportunity for him to get out there and show what he can do.
‘He was a quarter-finalist last year and he’s a great chance.
‘He feels the love and support from Australia and it definitely helps him.’
Boulter also told News Corp that she had been pestering tournament director Craig Tiley over email and WhatsApp as she tries to get her game back on track after falling out of the top 100 players in the world.
De Minaur – who is seeded sixth for his home major – has revealed one big change he has made after losing in six Grand Slam quarter-finals.
‘Ultimately in tennis, there are so many variables. Over the years, that [cracking the top five in the world rankings] is something that I’ve obsessed about, and something that I’ve looked at after every single match and focused on everyone else’s results.
‘And, as I saw last year, it consumed me. It was too much.
‘So I’m doing my best to kind of be a lot more chilled out about it. If it happens, it happens.’
After four straight second-week runs at Melbourne Park, and a breakthrough quarter-final showing last year, de Minaur could not be happier with his build-up for another title tilt.
‘I played some good tennis here, and ultimately any improvements would be important,’ he said.
‘Ultimately, those are the goals that I will be pursuing.
‘Whether I achieve it this next coming week or at the end of the year or in the middle of the year, I’m going to be looking forward to hopefully finishing off the year higher than I did this last year, so that’s my main goal.’
