Kai Trump couldn’t resist poking fun at mom Vanessa over her romance with Tiger Woods while filming a video for her YouTube channel this week.
Vanessa, who has been dating golf legend Tiger in the public eye for close to a year, joined her 18-year-old daughter for a cookie-decorating session at their family home in the video.
As they worked their magic in the kitchen, Kai also asked her mom a series of questions along the way – and one of them appeared to trigger an awkward exchange about Tiger.
After being asked when she last decorated cookies, Vanessa said: ‘I would say Christmas time. Valentine’s Day cookies…’
A grinning Kai then interrupted by saying: ”Is love in the air?’
The young golfer couldn’t contain her laughter before an embarrassed Vanessa said: ‘Oh my gosh. Nice trick question Kai… I wasn’t born yesterday.’

Kai, who is set to join the University of Miami to play collegiate golf in 2026, later admitted that her mom sometimes gets the better of her on the course.
She initially asked Vanessa whether she loved the sport, to which she replied: ‘I taught all my kids to play golf. I didn’t teach them personally, but I brought them to [play].’
‘I’m not a golfer, I was a tennis player,’ Vanessa added. ‘[But] I do love Putt Putt. I just love putting. I spent a lot of time practicing putting, and I do love golf.’
‘It’s funny though because she’s actually beat me at putting a few times,’ Kai then admitted. ‘I’m not the best putter. I am a great putter in tournaments here and there, but somehow you always, I don’t know.’
Tiger and Vanessa are seemingly as loved-up as ever as the sporting great celebrated his 50th birthday with his high-profile girlfriend by his side in December.
The 15-time major winner, who turned 50 at the end of December, toasted the milestone in a lavish bash as a co-celebration of 30 years of his charitable foundation.

While Woods mingled with the star-studded guest list, he reportedly spent a lot of the night cozied up to his 48-year-old girlfriend.
‘Tiger was with Vanessa but also busy talking to people he knows from the charity,’ a source told People Magazine.
‘There was some serious partying going down all night by the philanthropists and other high profile guests,’ they continued.
‘They seemed to have a great time,’ the source added.
