Arsenal star Kai Havertz has welcomed his first child with his partner Sophia Weber.
The German international, who is currently sidelined with injury, shared news of the birth of his son on Wednesday morning in an emotional Instagram post.
Taking to the social media platform, Havertz and Weber shared a picture of them holding the hand of their son, with the caption: ‘Welcome to the world our little boy. We love you so much!’
Back in November, the German star – who signed who signed for the Gunners in 2023 – confirmed that the couple were expecting their first child.
The couple both shared photos of themselves hugging as Sophie displayed her growing baby bump for the first time.
Kai lovingly placed his hands on her belly in the black and white snaps as Sophie called her pregnancy: ‘Our biggest blessing’.

Back in November, the couple took to Instagram to share news of Weber’s pregnancy
However, shortly after, Havertz’s wife, Weber, was targeted by social media trolls who sent sickening abuse to her after Arsenal crashed out of the FA Cup.
Havertz missed a penalty in Arsenal’s FA Cup shootout defeat against Manchester United on Sunday before his wife reposted two messages she received on Instagram.
Some of the messages targeted her pregnancy, as she described one remark as ‘shocking’ before adding ‘I hope you are so ashamed of yourself’.
Arsenal reported the abuse to the police and are working with specialist data firm Signify to try to identify the culprits.
Gunners boss Mikel Arteta said: ‘It’s incredible, honestly. We really have to do something about it, because accepting that and hiding this has terrible consequences.
‘It’s something we have to eradicate from the game because it’s so cynical and dependent to a result of an action. There is no other industry like this’.

‘We are all responsible. You guys (the media) are responsible, everybody is responsible for the narrative and how we talk.
‘We cannot look somewhere else. That’s a really serious matter. It affects me. It affects him and everybody that is in the industry.
‘We can accept it and say that’s our job, but there are certain limits and the line has to be drawn. We put a lot of attention on technology and what is next in football. What is next in football is that this should be prohibited. It cannot happen. That’s it.’
