Vikings wide receiver Jordan Addison has been suspended by the NFL following a DUI arrest last year.
Addison reportedly struck a plea deal with prosecutors last month and was sentenced to probation.
Now, ESPN’s Adam Schefter has reported that Addison has been banned for the first three games of the season for violating the league’s Substances of Abuse Policy.
The suspension will see the third-year wideout miss games against the Bears, Falcons and Bengals.
Police say they found Addison asleep behind the wheel of a Rolls Royce near Los Angeles International Airport on July 12, 2024.
He had been facing a fine or the potential loss his license if he had been convicted on the misdemeanor DUI charge.
However, according to TMZ , Addison’s attorneys issued a no contest plea to a lesser charge of reckless driving upon a highway, on behalf of the Vikings star.
