This award is open to amateur or professional practitioners of the Arts in the following fields storytelling, language, music, poetry, literature, and history.
Applicants must be born in or domiciled in the Lisburn and Castlereagh City Council area.

The John Hewitt International Summer School Residency Award 2026 covers the residency period of the summer school only.
The successful applicant must attend the complete summer school.
