Follow Daily Mail Sport’s live coverage as Jannik Sinner takes on Alexander Zverev in the Wimbledon men’s final.

Key Updates

Arthur Fery meets Kate!

Young Arthur Fery must surely be wondering when he’s going to wake up from the dream he’s been living for the last few weeks.

Prior to this summer’s grass season, I think we’d all be lying if we tried to argue that we’d heard his name before. Now, it’s known in virtually every household across the country.

The Brit’s run to the semi-final was truly spectacular – and now he’s been rewarded with the opportunity to meet Kate Middleton.

You have to say, the 24-year-old looks pretty pleased with himself.

Rewind a year…

It was exactly 365 days ago that the last Wimbledon final took place – and what a match it was.

Sinner bounced back from an early setback that day against Carlos Alcaraz to win 4-6, 6-4, 6-4, 6-4 and lift his maiden Wimbledon trophy.

Could the Italian make it two-in-two today?

A pairing to suit the occasion

There is, arguably, no bigger date on the tennis calendar than the Wimbledon final and, today, the two players competing are worthy of featuring on such an occasion.

No 1 seed Jannik Sinner and No 2 Alexander Zverev have breezed their way to the final and, in this week’s semi-finals, showed their dominance.

Italian Sinner demolished Novak Djokovic on Centre Court on Friday while Zverev held his nerve to beat underdog and fan-favourite Arthur Fery earlier in the day.

But it all comes down to this and, given Sinner has won his last nine matches against Zverev, there’s one clear favourite.

The Princess has arrived

The Prince and Princess of Wales were pictured strolling through the grounds of Wimbledon earlier today ahead of this afternoon’s final.

Kate Middleton, donning a green dress, seemed in great spirits and offered a wave to well-wishers as walked along a balcony with the rest of her family.

Prince George and Princess Charlotte are also in attendance.

The time has finally come!

Two weeks, 128 players and some 675 matches later, and the time has finally come.

The Wimbledon final is upon us – and it gets underway in just 30 minutes.

Jannik Sinner and Alexander Zverev have arrived, as have countless celebrities, and we’ll have all the updates for you this afternoon from this famed south-west London venue.

I don’t know about you, but I just can’t wait.
