Jamie Lee Curtis broke down in tears over Charlie Kirk’s death mid-way through an interview on Marc Maron’s “WTF” podcast.

In the episode released on Monday (15 September), the Freakier Friday star, 66, became emotional as she discussed how the right-wing political commentator and Donald Trump ally was shot and killed while addressing a crowd at a university campus.

After mistakenly calling him “Charlie Christ,” Curtis maintained that she disagreed with Kirk “on almost every point” she ever heard him say.

“But I believe he was a man of faith, and I hope in that moment when he died, that he felt connected with his faith. Even though his ideas were abhorrent to me, I still believe he’s a father and a husband and a man of faith,” she added.
