Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence stunningly waved off his own coach on Sunday during a heated moment against the Bengals.

Lawrence, who finished the game with three touchdowns and two interceptions, had seen a pass attempt to Dyami Brown fall incomplete after aiming the ball high for the receiver in the fourth quarter.

And Jacksonville head Liam Coen coach was infuriated after, as video from the CBS broadcast of the game showed him angrily urging his quarterback to hit his receivers in the chest.

Lawrence wasn’t too keen to receive the constructive criticism, however, as he could be seen waving off the first-year head coach with the Jaguars ahead by three in the fourth quarter.

The moment went viral afterwards on social media as Robert Griffin III criticized 25-year-old Lawrence.

‘Worst thing a Coach can do is show up his QB,’ the 2012 Offensive Rookie of the Year wrote.

‘Worst thing a QB can do is blow off his coach. The Jaguars have to fix the most important relationship on a football team between Head Coach Liam Coen and QB Trevor Lawrence or it will be a long year.’

Ultimately, Cincinnati managed to rally for a win against Coen’s squad even with
Joe Burrow sidelined due to a foot injury.

Backup Jake Browning snuck into the endzone with 18 seconds remaining as the Bengals moved to 2-0 on the year.

While Lawrence finished with 271 receiving yards, he was once again out of sync with top target Brian Thomas Jr., who caught just four of 12 targets.

‘I thought we made some plays down the field where we had some big chunks,’ Lawrence said of Thomas, who finished with 49 receiving yards. ‘I think there’s definitely stuff we left out there again this week.’

Lawrence, the No. 1 overall pick of the 2021 NFL Draft, has struggled since his Pro Bowl sophomore campaign.

He’s just 11-17 in his last 28 games as a starter, with 36 touchdowns against 24 interceptions.

Lawrence and the Jaguars will look to get back on track next week against the Texans.
