Leigh Leopards second row Jack Hughes has signed a new contract to remain with the Super League club for a fourth season.

The 33-year-old joined the Leopards ahead of the 2023 season and won the Challenge Cup in his first season.

He has also registered play-off finishes in all three of his seasons with Leigh so far, including this term where he was part of the side that ended the 2025 regular season campaign in third.

“I’m glad to have the opportunity to extend my contract at what is such an exciting time at the club,” he said., external

“I’m excited with what is going on at the club on and off the field and it’s great to be a part of it.

“We have a massive togetherness, trust and connection among the playing staff and I love playing here.

“Evening games playing here just keep getting better week after week and I love looking forward to playing under the lights and in front of our fans.”

Prior to joining the club, Hughes had also turned out for Wigan Warriors, Huddersfield Giants and Warrington Wolves, after making his debut in 2011.
