Reason for inclusion in Forward Plan: The Council have a statutory duty to review, consult and republish their Licensing Policy every 5 years. The current policy will expire on 6 January 2026. We therefore require cabinet permission to approve the public consultation. Following the consultation, a report will come back to Cabinet and then Full Council in December 2025 for approval.

Key Risks: None – the only risk is if we fail to undertake the review and not publish the new policy before 6 January 2026.

If you want to make representations contact:: Rachael Hind, Regulatory Services Manager Commercial Environmental Health, [email protected].
