Former Las Vegas Raiders defensive end Isaac Rochell’s wife Allison Kuch posted an emotional TikTok following his release from the organization earlier this week.

Kuch, who is due to give birth to the couple’s first child in December, explained why she cried upon hearing the news he was cut.

‘If you’re tired about always hearing about these transactions, same,’ Kuch said. ‘This sucks for all of us.

‘At the end of the day the NFL is a business and my husband and I are fine. We are OK. We have each other.

‘But I would be lying if I said this didn’t affect me or that I didn’t care or it didn’t make me emotional.

‘Our baby’s due date is in four weeks. Yeah, I was crying when I found out my husband was being released.’

Prior to his release, Rochell had only recorded 10 tackles this season as he struggled to remain a key part of the Raiders defense.

The seven-year journeyman has yet to become a key figure during either of his four stops in the NFL and failed to latch on with the Los Angeles Chargers, Indianapolis Colts, Cleveland Browns, or Raiders.

Kuch went on to tell the familiar ttale of an NFL family regularly being forced to deal with constantly being uprooted and moving from city to city, while also discussing the process of Rochell being placed on waivers and being able to be claimed by any of the other teams around the league.

The news of Rochell’s release originally came right after the team posted a clip of him honoring his brother’s service in the United States Air Force.
