The mother of a four-year-old Iranian girl in a coma has sent a message to Donald Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu after a US-Israeli air campaign destroyed their home.

Anita was left with severe head injuries after she was pulled out of rubble. She had been playing with her brother when the strike happened.

According to Sky News, doctors say she is unlikely to survive.

Sky’s international affairs editor Dominic Waghorn spoke to Anita’s mother, Zeebar, who said: “Why did this happen to us, to innocent people, my innocent four-year-old girl who was only going downstairs to come to me?

“They’ve taken away our safety, our happiness, and the health of our children.”
