Support for late-stage startups

Innovate UK is piloting a new programme called Growth Catalyst. It seeks to accelerate highly innovative startups on their journey to becoming successful scale-ups and beyond.

The first Growth Catalyst pilot is aimed at seed to series A businesses working in clean energy or climate technology.

Through this package, successful applicants will receive

  • funding and investment – R&D grant funding aligned with private equity investment
  • expert business support – strategic guidance from teams across Innovate UK
  • connection – connections to industry experts and research partners
  • specialist skills and industry infrastructure – learning opportunities in business leadership, innovation management and technical development

Applications are now open and close on 2 July 2025.

Find out more about the Growth Catalyst.

If you are not sure if this is the right opportunity for you, you should complete the Growth Catalyst suitability checker.

If you need more information about how to apply, email [email protected] or call Innovate UK on Tel 0300 321 4357.
