Carolina Reyes, a beloved influencer known as Carol the Warrior, has died after battling cancer.

The 23-year-old passed away on Wednesday, her family revealed in a statement via Instagram.

“It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our warrior,” her loved ones wrote. “She was a warrior, a brilliant person and a human being who never gave up in the face of any difficulty that came her way.”

“Thank you for loving her, supporting her, showing her so much affection, and always welcoming her with open arms,” the statement concluded.

The following day, Reyes’ loved ones announced a wake would be held in her honor on Thursday in Cali, Colombia.
