Small grants of up to £500 are available to help businesses to be more inclusive.

Who it is for

Application criteria 

  • businesses, charities, social enterprises and sole entrepreneurs can apply
  • businesses must be based in the Belfast City Council local government district
  • services must be used by visitors – that is people who do not live or work in Belfast and who are visiting the city for leisure or business purposes

Support you can get

Small grants of up to £500 are available to support tourism and hospitality businesses, charities, and social enterprises to become more accessible and inclusive to visitors.

The Inclusive Tourism Vouchers scheme, developed by Belfast City Council, is the latest initiative to help the sector explore new markets.

Grant details 

The voucher must be used to buy services or equipment that can help businesses be more inclusive of disabled visitors.

For example

  • staff training
  • an access audit
  • updating your website or marketing materials
  • new signage
  • sensory packs
  • other solutions to make your business more inclusive

Vouchers will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. The scheme will be closed when the budget is spent.
