Small grants of up to £500 are available to help businesses be more inclusive
Tourism and hospitality businesses, charities and social enterprises are being encouraged to apply for small grants of up to £500 to support them to become more accessible and inclusive to visitors.
The Inclusive Tourism Vouchers scheme, developed by Belfast City Council, is the latest initiative to help the sector explore new markets.
Grant details
You must use the voucher to buy services or equipment that can help your business be more inclusive of disabled visitors.
For example
- staff training
- an access audit
- updating your website or marketing materials
- new signage
- sensory packs
- other solutions to make your business more inclusive
Application criteria
- businesses, charities, social enterprises and sole entrepreneurs can apply
- your business must be based in the Belfast City Council local government district
- your services must be used by visitors – that is people who do not live or work in Belfast and who are visiting the city for leisure or business purposes
Vouchers will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.
The scheme will be closed when the budget is spent.
