Despite being in street clothes and not suiting up for the Dallas Cowboys, wide receiver CeeDee Lamb still managed to take a hit in a preseason game.
Lamb was standing on the sideline at SoFi Stadium on Saturday evening for a preseason game against the Los Angeles Rams.
The Pro-Bowler was a little too close to the action during a play in the second quarter – leading to a penalty for him.
Lamb was watching as backup QB Joe Milton uncorked a deep pass to wideout Jonathan Mingo.
The receiver started signalling to his teammates in celebration while standing in the white paint on the sideline. He didn’t see a referee in hot pursuit to track down the play before being run over by the official.
Lamb got up laughing, but the officials still whistled him for unsportsmanlike conduct and took 15 yards off the play.
