Funding to help you explore immersive arts
Immersive Arts, a UK-wide funding programme, is inviting artists and creative practitioners to apply for grants to develop projects using immersive technologies.
The programme offers three funding strands tailored to different stages of creative development
- Explore £5,000 for artists new to immersive arts to spark curiosity and learning.
- Experiment £20,000 to test ideas and prototypes with small audiences.
- Expand £50,000 to grow immersive projects and reach wider audiences.
Artists at all levels of experience are invited to apply, to explore, experiment or expand how they work with this exciting field of practice.
With over £3.6 million available between 2024 and 2027, the scheme aims to support more than 200 artists across the UK, including Northern Ireland.
The funding can cover project costs such as research, materials, training, collaborations, and accessibility measures like BSL interpretation and captioning.
Applications are open until 2pm on Monday 29 September 2025.
Artists can apply individually or as part of small groups or organisations.
