Ibrahima Konate took a brutal dig at Arsenal fans after replying to a post about Bukayo Saka’s latest injury setback.
In a major blow to the Gunners, Saka left the pitch against Crystal Palace on Saturday after just 24 minutes while clutching his right hamstring.
It has not yet been confirmed how long the England winger will be out for but Arsenal fans will be hopeful that the 23-year-old will return to availability in the near future.
Liverpool fans, meanwhile, took the opportunity to tease their rivals over the injury and brought up an old post that Arsenal fans had made about Konate’s injury.
Last month, after Konate sustained an injury in Liverpool’s win over Real Madrid, one Arsenal fan took to X and wrote: ‘Rivalry aside I hope Konate’s injury is serious.’
After Saka’s injury on Saturday, one Liverpool fan responded with a picture of Saka lying on the Selhurst Park turf and wrote: ‘Karma is a b****’.

While rival fans argued, Konate insisted ‘we are not like them’ while talking of Arsenal fans
However, while the two fans argued online, Konate quickly weighed in and suggested Liverpool fans shouldn’t stoop to that level.
Taking to the social media platform, Konate wrote: ‘We are not like them… [eyes emoji], we wish no harm. anyway In Sha Allah big 3 pts today.’
Konate currently remains sidelined and missed Liverpool’s 6-3 demolition against Tottenham on Sunday night which took them four points clear at the top.
Mikel Arteta has admitted he is ‘pretty worried’ about Saka’s hamstring injury which saw the winger leave Selhurst Park on crutches.
Arteta said: ‘He (Saka) felt something in his hamstring. He couldn’t continue. He will have to be assessed. Pretty worried about that one.
‘It’s difficult to do that (assessment) now. They have tested him inside but very difficult to say how bad it is.’
The England international – who has provided five goals and 10 assists in the league – was replaced by Belgian team-mate Leandro Trossard at Selhurst Park.
Arsenal fans will be hoping it’s not a recurrence of the hamstring injury back in October.

Konate is currently sidelined after sustaining an injury in Liverpool’s win over Real Madrid
During the international break that month, the winger was forced to withdraw from the England squad after sustaining the injury in their clash against Greece.
That hamstring issue kept the 23-year-old sidelined for 39 days – a period which included their disappointing 2-0 defeat by Bournemouth.
With clashes against Man United and rivals Tottenham in the new year, Mikel Arteta will be hopeful that it’s not the same issue for the Arsenal wide-man.
