  • Content creator entered Rafael Nadal’s personal space

Vision has surfaced of tennis legend Rafael Nadal dealing with an overzealous fan at Melbourne Airport – and his reaction was in stark contrast to John McEnroe’s fiery interaction with another supporter as he prepared to fly out of Australia.

Nadal, 39, politely told a ‘journalist’ he was unable to answer any questions – after the wannabe reporter entered his personal space.

Daily Mail understands Adem Savran is a budding content creator as opposed to being part of any accredited media.

Savran often directly approaches athletes in public spaces, who then choose if they want to engage with him.

At Tullamarine Airport on Monday, Savran boldly asked Nadal if he could ‘answer two questions’ – but was left empty-handed after the 22-time Grand Slam champion politely declined.

After seeing the vision, plenty of sports fans sided with Nadal, feeling Savran was out of line.

‘That’s fair enough leave him alone,’ one responded after seeing the vision on Savran’s TikTok.

‘Why are people feeling it’s ok to harass and get in personal space of these tennis legends?,’ asked another.

‘Leave him alone,’ a third bluntly posted.

It comes after tennis great John McEnroe left Australia with a bang, telling a young Aussie teen to ‘go f*** yourself’ in a trademark meltdown.

The 66-year-old won seven Grand Slams during his decorated career, but also forged a reputation as a hothead who loved to blow up at umpires, opponents, fans and his own tennis racquets.

Now he has been filmed losing his patience at a persistent teenage fan who wanted a photo and his autograph.

The tennis great was Down Under as a commentator for the Australian Open, and was heading home to the US when the incident unfolded.

In the video, McEnroe emerged from a car at Melbourne Airport with his luggage and a guitar strapped to his back, when the boy seized the opportunity to meet his tennis idol.

Eventually McEnroe had enough, asking the fan to stop asking for a photo before swearing at him in frustration and leaving the scene.
