He’s going to be the “guy on the Chiefs” for one more season.
Travis Kelce revealed how his fiancée, Taylor Swift, motivated him to return to the Kansas City Chiefs for a 14th season.
“She has … we share the same love for what we do and fortunately, we’ve had this desire since we were kids in our selective professions,” the tight end said on a live taping of the “Pat McAfee Show” Tuesday.
“It’s just amazing to see her keep going to the table, keep finding new things to write about, keep finding new melodies and things like that,” Kelce added.
“And on top of that, still seeing her have that love and joy in what she does.”
The three-time Super Bowl champ, 36, said seeing the “Bad Blood” singer dominate in the music industry is “motivating.”
“That’s motivating for anyone to see, let alone my fiancée, and knowing that I’m going through something where I’m trying to figure out exactly what the future holds for me,” he shared.
“Something like that definitely motivates me to say, ‘You know what, I’m not done either,’” Kelce added.
“I still got some ideas in the back of my mind and still got some juice left to play this game.”
On Monday, Kelce confirmed that he would be returning to the Chiefs for the 2026 to 2027 season after months of retirement rumors swirled.
The athlete reportedly signed a one-year deal with the Chiefs worth between $12 and $15 million.
As the offseason continues, Kelce and Swift, also 36, are still planning their wedding.
Page Six exclusively reported that the pair, who began dating in 2023, will tie the knot this summer.
Last November, we also reported that the Grammy winner and the football star were considering hosting additional ceremonies in Tennessee and potentially on a private island.
While details about the wedding have been kept under wraps, Kelce hilariously said last month that there would be so many kegs of his Garage Beer brand at the reception.
