A new survey is asking Northern Ireland businesses to share how they use – or don’t use – artificial intelligence (AI)

Belfast Chamber, with input from the Department for the Economy, launched the ‘AI in Northern Ireland Businesses Readiness and Adoption Survey’ to better understand AI use and adoption across local businesses. The results will guide future training, funding, and support for companies in Northern Ireland.

The survey takes 9 to 11 minutes to complete and is open to all businesses, including

  • those fully using AI in products and services
  • those just experimenting
  • those not using AI at all

Responses are anonymous. Results will be published in late 2025 to give policymakers a clear view of how AI is being used, the skills gaps, and barriers among Northern Ireland’s small and larger businesses.

Complete the survey online by 24 October 2025.
