Social enterprises can now apply for the Housing Executive’s Social Investment Grants

The Housing Executive’s Social Investment Strategic Plan 2025–2030 People, Place & Prosperity aims to support organisations and social enterprises working within Housing Executive communities. The plan focuses on strengthening socially driven enterprises that contribute to improved social and economic outcomes for residents.

What are the funding themes?

The Housing Executive is looking to support applications that meet the following themes

  • social enterprise development
  • community wealth building
  • social value
  • employment and apprenticeships

Award categories

The awards categories are

Think It – up to £5,000

For new or early-stage organisations and social enterprises working within Housing Executive communities. Projects should support priorities such as social enterprise growth, community wealth building, social value, and employability.

Boost It – up to £10,000

For developing social enterprises or organisations with clear plans for growth. Applications must align with the strategic themes.

Grow It – up to £35,000

For established organisations or social enterprises seeking to scale or diversify their activities within Housing Executive communities.

Application deadline is Friday 20 February 2026 at 4pm.
