Claire Kittle, the wife of San Francisco 49ers star George Kittle, is reportedly holding a grudge against NFL podcasters Will Compton and Taylor Lewan.

Compton and Lewan, the hosts of the popular podcast Bussin’ With the Boys, reportedly made Claire’s ‘s*** list’ after she blamed them for her husband’s season-ending injury.

The feud stems from Kittle’s appearance on the show last June, when Compton questioned the tight end what he would sacrifice for a Super Bowl title.

He had asked Kittle if he would go on injured reserve in the last week of the season if it meant that the Niners hoisted the Lombardi Trophy, to which the San Francisco star said he would.

Kittle would go on to rupture his Achilles in their playoff win against the Philadelphia Eagles last month, ending his season. And it appears Claire holds Compton and Lewan responsible.

‘George said his wife is mad at us,’ Compton, a former NFL linebacker, revealed on the latest episode of the podcast.

George Kittle’s wife Claire is not happy with Will Compton and Taylor Lewan:

“George said his wife is mad at us. We did the whole ‘would you do anything for a Super Bowl’ and I said would you go on IR the last week of the season if it meant the team could win a Super Bowl and he… pic.twitter.com/r4avziJ8cp

‘We did the whole “would you do anything for a Super Bowl” and I said would you go on IR the last week of the season if it meant the team could win a Super Bowl and he was like “Yes”.

‘I don’t know why she’s mad at me, the football gods obviously didn’t deliver their end of the bargain. He sent me the clip and said “Yeah, you guys are on her shit list”. That’s fair, but if I could pass the blame, I’d put that on the football gods.’

Kittle tore his Achilles in the NFC Wild Card round of the playoffs, as the 49ers beat the Super Bowl LIX champions 23-19.

But his sacrifice ultimately didn’t prove to be worth it as the other end of Compton and Lewan’s bargain didn’t hold up for the Niners.

San Francisco went on to suffer defeat in the following round in a blowout defeat to the Seattle Seahawks.

The Seahawks were crowned Super Bowl champions on Sunday when they dominated the New England Patriots 29-13.

Kittle has dealt with a plethora of serious injuries over the past few seasons that have nearly de-railed his progress.

In Week 1 of the season, he suffered a grade three hamstring tear that forced him to miss five games of the Niners’ campaign, and then he picked up a left ankle sprain in December that ruled him out of another game.

Last season he also missed Weeks 3 and 11 with a recurring thigh injury.
