Hilaria Baldwin hit back at critics for attacking her 12-year-old daughter for dressing “too old” for her age.
The mom of seven’s Instagram was flooded with negative comments Sunday when she posted an Instagram video of her preteen daughter, Carmen, dancing with two of her much-younger siblings.
One user wrote Carmen “dressed [too] old for her age” and needs to “tone it down,” referring to her outfit — a pearl body-chain, a white tank top, a khaki skirt and black tights.
“This girl is 12 years old why does she look 25?” another questioned with someone else adding, “She’s 12!!!! Why rush her.”
One comment that read, “How on Earth do you let a 12 y/o dress like this … EVERYTHING!” seemed to really hit Baldwin where it hurt and she directly responded to it in a since-deleted Instagram Reel on Monday.
During her rant, the yoga instructor, 42, held up a white board that had a chart called “Untrue Thoughts.” She accused criticizers of being jealous about getting older and being “pushed out” of the “women prime” era into the “old lady” stage of life, which were split up into different sections on the chart.
“My kids are so safe wearing a tank top, skirt and tights. She’s been wearing that her whole life. So why is it making you uncomfortable?”
She also noted that she teaches her kids about online safety so anyone who claims to be concerned doesn’t have to worry and should keep the negativity to themselves.
“Predators are real — trust me I know — the way to take care of them is not through Instagram comments or shaming,” she said.
Hilaria — who shares her seven children with husband Alec Baldwin — is no stranger to clapping back at haters.
Last month, she hit back at an age-shaming troll who called her out for wearing a dress that was “too short.”
“I’ll tell you what, I’ll show you a workout, and if you can do it, I’ll lend you my dress,” she continued. “It’s really fast, bear with me.”
The “Baldwins” star proceeded to do a headstand in the dress.
She has spoken out of being a victim of cyberbullying on several occasions and claimed that was the reason she got eliminated from “Dancing With the Stars” Season 34.
In October, Hilaria — who was paired with Gleb Savchenko — told Us Weekly that internet “mean girls” started TikTok campaigns where “they were voting for all the other couples except [them].”
“Very coordinated, very strategic bullying,” she added.
