Hero Fiennes Tiffin said he felt like a child again whilst working with his uncle Joseph Fiennes on Young Sherlock.
Speaking to The Independent at the series’ world premiere on Tuesday (24 February), the 28-year-old, who plays a younger version of Sherlock Holmes, said that he “shrunk back into the little boy version of myself”.
He said the most surprising thing about working with his uncle, who plays Sherlock’s father in the series, was ”how all of my confidence went straight out the window as soon as I was stood opposite him”.
“It’s not just Uncle Joe, it’s Joseph Fiennes, the incredible actor and you want to make him proud and prove that you’re half good at what you do,” he said, though added that he quickly regained his confidence.
