An actor portraying Jesus got the ride of his life when he was hoisted into the sky by a crane during an Easter celebration.

During the finale of the spectacular in Seoul, South Korea, the actor playing Christ rose from the dead on wires and was carried to the top of the stage.

But he then kept going, soaring off into the night sky because he was attached to a large crane.

The clip, filmed by Jana Flachsova, who goes by @cestuj_s_yanashi on TikTok, caused a great deal of mirth online after it went viral.
