A man has been arrested on suspicion of murdering a woman who was found dead at a home in Manchester.
The 51-year-old was found at a property Queens Road, Harpurhey, at about 04:00 BST on Monday, Greater Manchester Police said.
A 55-year-old man was arrested “following initial inquiries at the scene”, the force added.
Det Insp Emma Hulston said: “We understand this investigation will raise concerns in the local community, but I would like to reassure the public that we believe this to be an isolated incident with no wider threat to the public.”
