Training for electrical operatives in Electrical Energy Storage Systems, Electric Vehicle Charging Equipment, and Small-Scale Solar Photovoltaic Systems. 

Who it is for

These qualifications are aimed at experienced and practising electrical operatives.  

All participants must meet the following criteria

  • business address based in the Ards and North Down Borough Council area
  • a level 3 Electrotechnical qualification or equivalent
  • a BS 7671 Requirements for Electrical Installations (current edition) qualification

Support you can get

SERC (South Eastern Regional College) is delivering a free Greentech Academy for candidates looking to upskill in the following courses 

  • Electrical Energy Storage Systems
  • Electric Vehicle Charging Equipment
  • Small-Scale Solar Photovoltaic Systems

The Academy is fully funded through the Labour Market Partnership for Ards and North Down Borough Council.

Participants can enrol for one, two, or three courses on offer. 

Courses will be delivered at SERC’s Holywood and Newtownards campuses.
