Cameras got the ball not coming off his club straight, heading to the right of the green instead of landing straight on.
Couples’ dissatisfaction was obvious before as cameras panned to watch the ball in flight.
Before the ball touched down and while it rolled nearly out of play beyond the bunker, Couples unleashed the profanity.

Through two rounds, Couples is tied with Miguel Angel Jimenez for the lead at the Hoag Classic, with both men one stroke ahead of third-place Freddie Jacobson.
Couples’ only major win came at the 1992 Masters, with him attending some of the glitzy Masters Club Dinner events since donning a Green Jacket.
This year’s dinner menu was picked by Scottie Scheffler, with him paying homage to his Texas roots.
Couples has not won on the Champions Tour since the 2022 SAS Championship, where he was victorious by six strokes.
