Surfing legend Mick Fanning and his partner Breeana Randall have listed their luxury beachfront home, known as Rolling Seas, on the Gold Coast.
The three-storey property in Bilinga, purchased by Fanning in 2011 for $3.25million, is set to officially hit the market next week. Kollosche’s Troy Dowker will lead the sales campaign.
Built in 2014, the home was originally designed as a family residence before undergoing a transformation by Sydney-based Three Birds Renovations in 2022.
The renovation gave the property a modern coastal aesthetic, making it a standout in the area. After the renovation, the home was placed on the short-term rental market.
Rolling Seas boasts five bedrooms and an array of luxurious features, including an infinity pool, a master suite with an open ensuite and private ocean-view balcony, a yoga studio with a sauna, a media room, a wine cellar, a loft bedroom, and an elevator.
A separate double-storey guest cottage features exposed brickwork, copper pipes, an open-plan kitchen, and a private patio.

The luxury property offers a range of comforts including direct access to the Gold Coast coastline

The property has been listed by Fanning and his partner Breeana Randall after they purchased it back in 2011
The main house is designed with an open and airy feel, featuring vintage-style doors leading to a spacious entry foyer and living area.
The kitchen, complete with a butler’s pantry, opens through a servery window to an outdoor entertaining terrace, which includes a blue-and-white tiled pool, daybeds, and a lounge area.
Direct beach access and an outdoor shower add to the home’s appeal.
Fanning, a three-time World Surf League champion, has been active in the Gold Coast real estate market, previously selling a Tugun investment property for over $3million.
Fanning and Randall own several other properties in the area, with an estimated total value of $10million.
The stretch of sand along Bilinga is not known for quality surf, meaning even Fanning has to travel to nearby Duranbah, Kirra, Snapper Rocks or Palm Beach for better waves.
However, for non-surfers, Rolling Seas offers an unmatched coastal lifestyle.
The design firm worked closely with Fanning and Randall to furnish and style both the main house and guest cottage, creating a high-end holiday rental experience.

Fanning and his partner have a property portfolio on the Gold Coast, but this is the second home they have sold in two years

The sale comes after a tough year for Fanning after losing his brother Edward after the passing of his other two brothers
The renovation included elements inspired by Palm Springs aesthetics, with white walls, white floors, a sunken lounge, fireplaces, and a ping-pong table.
Fanning’s decision to sell Rolling Seas follows the auction of another property in 2024.
His former Tugun-Currumbin home, featuring three bedrooms, a home gym, an infrared sauna, surfboard racks, an indoor skate ramp, and a swimming pool, went to private auction and was expected to sell for around $4million.
The house, just a short walk from the beach, was one of Australia’s most-viewed homes when it last hit the market.
Beyond real estate, Fanning has faced personal challenges in recent years. Earlier this year, he opened up about his struggles following the passing of his brother, Edward.
This tragic event follows the loss of his older brother Peter in 2015 and his other brother Sean in a car crash in 1998. Edward passed away while working at a surf camp in Madagascar in March.
Fanning has been vocal about the importance of mental health, sharing his own experiences with depression and anxiety.
“Some people think that there is no way out of it, but it is not that bad,” he said. “You face your fears, you have your friends and your family to support you, and we’ve got to help each other get through those dark times.”
