Australian sports presenter Grace Hayden has announced that she is set to be the official host for the live television coverage of the Canada Super 60 League, which commences later this October.

The 23-year-old presenter has taken the broadcasting world by storm, notably landing a breakout gig as Channel Seven’s Oaks Day ambassador in 2022, before going on to work for Star Sports in India, fronting their coverage of the IPL.

Now, she is set for pastures new, with Hayden, who is also the daughter of Australian cricket legend Matthew Hayden, set to move to Canada for the new groundbreaking cricket tournament.

The new Super60 league has been backed by cricket legend Yuvraj Singh and will also be played at the iconic 54,500-capacity BC Place in Vancouver.

This short form competition differs compared to The Hundred, IPL and traditional T20 cricket, with a team of 11 players being given 10 overs (60 balls) to score as many runs as possible.

And Hayden took to Instagram last week to announce she’ll be hosting the live coverage of the league, in what will be another big step in her rising broadcasting career.

‘I’m thrilled to announce that I’ll be your official host for a historic moment in cricket – the Canada Super 60 league is here,’ she said during a video published on Instagram.

‘A first 10 over per side format, where both men and women are able to shine together right from ball one at the iconic BC place.

‘We can’t wait to bring you along on this incredible journey because guess what, the future is here! See you all there.’

She captioned the clip: ‘Canada Im coming for you! I’ll be joining the @canadasuper60 as the official host, bringing you all the excitement of 6 days of action-packed cricket. Can’t wait to see you all there.’

Travelling for work is not something that’s new for Hayden, who has just returned to Australia for the inaugural racing event of the Sydney Everest Carnival.

Hayden stunned in a beautiful red dress at Royal Randwick this weekend alongside podcasters Lucy and Nikki, and fashion stylist Paul Versace.

Hayden had previously been quizzed by fans on social media how she managed being away from home for long periods of time, responding: ‘Look, I love to travel and always have and I’m so lucky my job takes me to so many incredible places all around the world.

‘I think you have to love what you do, have a good understanding, support network of friends and family because not every day will be easy, and learn to embrace the place you are & find parts of home when you are away from home.’

Meanwhile, Hayden has also recently jumped into the podcasting space and has been reaping the rewards with her successful show Game On with Grace.

Here, she looks to engage more audiences in the United States and Canada with cricket.

‘Game On is about pulling back the curtain on the world of sport’s untold stories,’ Grace said.

‘I grew up in cricket’s front row and have covered its biggest tournaments, but the moments that fascinate me most happen off camera.

‘Partnering with Willow allows me to share those raw, funny, and inspiring conversations with athletes, artists, and anyone chasing greatness.

‘I can’t wait to bring these stories to fans each week on the Willow app and wherever they listen to podcasts.’
