Innovate UK is inviting businesses working in additive manufacturing to apply for the Global Business Innovation Programme focusing on Germany.
Selected businesses will take part in a structured programme designed to accelerate international growth and collaboration. The programme includes
- a preparation phase
- a tailored five-day market visit to Germany
- post-visit support to help businesses build partnerships and scale globally
Focus areas
This GBIP targets innovative UK businesses with technologies and solutions in additive manufacturing, as well as artificial intelligence opportunities in additive manufacturing. It also targets associated technologies that are part of the additive manufacturing chain, such as build design, data preparation, planning, process and quality assurance and more.
Why Germany
Germany is a global leader in manufacturing innovation, with strong investment in additive manufacturing and Industry 4.0. The country’s manufacturing sector focuses on precision engineering, sustainability, and digital transformation, making it a key market for UK businesses seeking to expand where industrial innovation and exports are priorities.
