Innovate UK is inviting businesses working on critical minerals and materials to apply for the Global Business Innovation Programme focusing on Canada.
Successful applicants will take part in a structured programme designed to accelerate international growth and collaboration. The programme includes
- a preparation phase
- a tailored six-day market visit to Canada
- post-visit support to help businesses build partnerships and scale globally
The programme will provide participants with bespoke support, and a unique opportunity to find partners and identify opportunities for technology and innovation collaboration.
Focus areas
This GBIP is open to innovative small and medium-sized businesses working on critical minerals and materials across the value chain. Key areas include
- rare earth value chains – including UK-focused mining, processing, permanent magnet manufacturing, and recycling
- remining – recovering minerals from mine and industrial waste.
