Gary Neville has been spotted allegedly using his phone whilst driving his £170,000 Bentley.

The ex-Manchester United and England star was seen by passersby visibly holding his mobile whilst stopped at a red light.

Neville was filmed driving his 180mph 2024 Bentley Bentayga S V8 Auto V8 by one onlooker.

The 50-year-old Sky Sports pundit could be seen with one hand on the steering wheel, with his phone in the other whilst driving off.

The 20-second video then came to an end.

Neville – who played 400 times for United – was seen on Irwell Street, Salford, Greater Manchester.

He is one of the game’s most decorated footballers, winning eight Premier League titles and two Champions Leagues.

The UK Government states that it is illegal to use a hand-held device whilst driving and when stopped at traffic lights.

Drivers found breaking the rule can be issued with a £200 fine and slammed with six penalty points on their license, as reported by NeedToKnow.

Football fans were shocked by the footage.

Aiden Hardy said: ‘Oh dear, six points Gary.

‘Ask if you can pass them onto United.’

John said: ‘Six points more than Man United.’

Dale added: ‘Every single driver does this. It’s infuriating.’

One added: ‘Wow, he’s doing what almost every other driver in the world does.’

Daily Mail Sport has contacted Neville for comment.

It is not the first time the former Three Lions right back has been spotted allegedly doing it.

Neville is thought to have previously been caught texting at the wheel when driving into Man United’s Carrington training ground. In 2017, he was criticised for reportedly holding a mobile phone while driving.

A year earlier, Neville was seen using his mobile whilst driving his £100,000 BMW i8, it’s alleged.

The new footage was captured on August 29 but has only just come to light.

He was on his way to the Salford City FC vs Cheltenham Town match.

Neville, is part of the ownership group at the League Two club led by himself and former teammate and friend David Beckham.

The retired footballer was capped 85 times for England and is a former coach of the national team.
