Fulham are exploring a deal for Bayer Leverkusen’s 23-year-old attacking midfielder Malik Tillman.
The Cottagers are looking for options as Harry Wilson is poised to leave at the end of the season as a free agent.
Everton and Aston Villa are vying for Wilson’s signature while Crystal Palace have also expressed interest in the in-form 29-year-old Wales international.
Tillman was born in Germany and graduated through Bayern Munich’s academy. He broke into the first team and had a successful couple of loan spells with Rangers then PSV Eindhoven who he joined permanently before being sold to Leverkusen for £30million.
He still has four years left on contract but Fulham are discussing whether to test Leverkusen’s resolve with an offer for the summer.

Tillman qualified for USA through his father and is expected to be part of Mauricio Pochettino’s squad for the World Cup. If Fulham opt to proceed, they may wish to get a deal agreed before the tournament in case his value rises.
Marco Silva’s side had lined up a deal for Tillman’s compatriot PSV Eindhoven striker Ricardo Pepi too but that fell through last month, despite him travelling to London for a medical.
The clubs couldn’t agree on final details as he returned to PSV for the rest of the season and there is debate whether they should return to negotiations.
Tillman can play behind the main striker and off the left flank.
