Book your free cyber security consultation

Small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) can now access a free 30-minute cyber security consultation with an expert assured by the UK National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC).

The programme, run by Iasme, is designed to increase cyber resilience among the UK SMEs and help them work towards a Cyber Essentials certification.

What you get from the free session

During the consultation, you will receive

  • practical tips to strengthen your current cyber security
  • insights into the Cyber Essentials certification process
  • simple, jargon-free actions you can take immediately

Who can apply

The programme is aimed at SMEs that

  • have fewer than 250 employees
  • are thinking about Cyber Essentials but have not been certified before
  • are ready to discuss their current IT and security setup

The free consultation could be particularly useful for those businesses that are being asked about Cyber Essentials by customers, insurers or supply chain partners, but are unsure where to start.

How to get your free advice

You can check your eligibility and sign up with Iasme online.

During sign-up, you will answer a few short questions that will help tailor the advice to your business needs. An NCSC-assured Cyber Advisor will then contact you to schedule your free 30-minute consultation.

During this consultation, you will get advice and recommendations. The Cyber Advisor will not make sales pitches, and there will be no requirement to go on to certification. The aim is to give you useful, tailored advice to help you improve your business’ cyber security.

Find out more about Cyber Essentials certification.
