Former NFL linebacker Micheal Barrow was arrested on Tuesday after he allegedly punched his wife by accident during a family argument at the airport.

Barrow, a second-round pick in 1993, was outside Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport in Florida when he began arguing with his minor son, according to an incident report obtained by TMZ.

Barrow’s wife, Shelley, reportedly got involved in an effort to smooth things over when she was accidentally struck by Barrow, knocking her to the ground.

The former New York Giants star then punched his son in the face ‘with a close fist’ – leading Barrow’s other (older) son to get involved in.

The older sibling allegedly began wrestling with his dad, 55, before Barrow was arrested.

Barrow was booked in a Broward County jail on a charge of battery.

However, he later pled not guilty for his alleged crimes, according to court records cited by TMZ.

Cops said that the family argument had started before they even got to the airport, and it ultimately ended in regrettable fashion for Barrow.

Over a 12-year NFL career which began with the Oilers, he also played for the Panthers and Giants before spending one final season with the Cowboys in 2005.

Barrow also played in Super Bowl XXXV with the Giants as they lost to the Ravens 34-7 in 2001.

He later transitioned to the coaching ranks, serving as a linebackers coach for the University of Miami (his alma mater) and later the Seattle Seahawks as well.
