A former Bayern Munich star looked unrecognisable as he attended the club’s 125th anniversary celebrations on Wednesday night.
Hosted at the Paulaner Nockherberg in Munich, the club held a grand event to commemorate their history – with 650 invited guests from sport, politics and society.
Among those was a plethora of former and current Bayern players with the likes of Harry Kane, Manuel Neuer and Phillip Lahm all spotted on the night.
However, the midst of the starstudded line-up was one former Bayern ace who left fans stunned with his unrecognisable look.
The player in question was none other than Sammy Kuffour – who won six Bundesliga titles and a Champions League during his time with the German champions.
The former defender, now 48-years-old, wore an impressive blue blazer on the night along with silver trousers, which left some fans stumped over his identity.

Kuffour slumped to the turf after Manchester United scored their second goal in the 1999 Champions League final in an iconic image
Kuffour spent 10 years with the Bavarian giants where he made 277 appearances and scored seven goals from his central defensive position.
He also won four DFB-Pokals during his time with the side.
Kuffour is also remembered for providing an iconic picture during the 1999 Champions League final. He was seen slumped to the turf and looked emotional after Manchester United snatched the trophy from Bayern’s hands in a late comeback to seal the Treble.
Since hanging up his boots, Kuffour has stepped back onto the pitch multiple times to take part in charity matches hosted by the German giants.
Elsewhere on the night, Bayern CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen delivered a passionate speech about the club’s history.
He said: ‘Having roots and a foundation is important – and that’s what we’re celebrating today.
‘FC Bayern has always been characterised by innovation and passion – that has never changed over the decades, that has made it great, and it must always stay that way.’
